Stronger Together is UNC Health Pardee’s employee giving society, formerly known as Sharing and Caring. The refreshed program builds on a long tradition of generosity among Pardee teammates and gives every employee an opportunity to support the people, programs and priorities that matter most to our community.
WHAT IS THE STRONGER TOGETHER GIVING SOCIETY?
The Stronger Together Giving Society recognizes Pardee employees who make an annual gift of to the Pardee Hospital Foundation.
Membership is about more than a dollar amount. It’s a way to show your commitment to Pardee and to the patients, families and community we serve.
Every Pardee teammate is invited to participate, and every gift counts.
WHERE DOES MY GIFT GO?
The Pardee Hospital Foundation helps make more possible at Pardee by raising funds and awareness to strengthen programs, services, technology and resources that make a difference for our patients, their families and our community.
This year, we’re highlighting the newly opened Pardee Adolescent Behavioral Health Center as an important area of need in our community. At the same time, employees have the opportunity to choose where they want their gift to make an impact.
Whether you support adolescent behavioral health, another area of need or the Foundation’s greatest needs, your gift becomes part of the collective impact of Team Pardee.
HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?
Give online.
Make your gift anytime through the Stronger Together online giving form. You can make a one-time gift or choose recurring payroll deduction.
Give in person.
Stop by the Stronger Together table during Spirit Week on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in the Pardee Cafeteria. You can make a gift or pledge, ask questions and pick up your official Stronger Together T-shirt and sticker.
Give through payroll deduction.
Payroll deduction makes it easy to spread your gift throughout the year. Simply select the payroll deduction option when making your pledge.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I GIVE?
Your gift joins with those of other Pardee teammates. Together, those individual gifts become collective impact.
The Foundation then puts that generosity to work supporting programs, services, technology and resources that help strengthen care and the patient experience at Pardee.

Who can participate?
All UNC Health Pardee employees are invited to participate in Stronger Together.
How much do I have to give?
There is no minimum gift. Whether you give $1, $5, $25 or more, very gift makes a difference. Employees who give at any amount are recognized as members of the Stronger Together Giving Society.
Can I choose where my gift goes?
Yes. Employees can choose the area they would like to support when making their gift. Pardee Adolescent Behavioral Health Center is this year’s highlighted area of need.
Can I make a one-time gift?
Yes. You can make a one-time gift or choose payroll deduction.
How does payroll deduction work?
You can choose to spread your gift throughout the year across 26 pay periods. The online giving form will provide the option to select payroll deduction.
Can I still participate if I can’t come to the cafeteria on Sept. 24?
Absolutely. You can participate online anytime or by stopping by the Pardee Foundation Office, located at 561 Fleming Street.
What does my gift support?
Your gift helps the Pardee Hospital Foundation strengthen programs, services, technology and resources that support patients, families and the community. You can designate an area of support when making your gift.
Will I receive anything for participating?
Employees who make a donation or pledge during the Stronger Together campaign will receive a Stronger Together T-shirt and sticker.
