For more than 28 years, Women Helping Women has empowered women in our community to care for one another through philanthropy. Established by Pardee Hospital Foundation, the program is dedicated to ensuring every woman has access to the breast health resources she needs by providing financial support, education, and investment in innovative breast imaging technology at UNC Health Pardee.
Through the generosity of donors, Women Helping Women helps remove financial barriers that may prevent women from receiving essential breast health services, supports community education focused on awareness and early detection, and invests in advanced imaging technology that brings the latest breast cancer screening and diagnostic capabilities closer to home. Together, these efforts help improve access to care, promote earlier diagnoses, and strengthen breast health for women throughout our region.

The annual Women Helping Women Luncheon serves as the program’s signature fundraising event, bringing together community members, business leaders, healthcare professionals, and advocates who share a commitment to improving the lives of women facing breast cancer. Each year, the luncheon celebrates the power of philanthropy while raising essential funds to advance the program’s mission. Guests are inspired by meaningful stories, hear from nationally recognized speakers, and have the opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting financial assistance, breast health education, and continued investment in innovative breast imaging technology that will benefit women across our community for years to come.
