Amy Treece

Amy Treece’s relationship with Pardee is deeply rooted, as it goes back to the day she was born at Pardee Hospital. Many years later in her tenure with a local bank, she began looking for ways to give back to the community she loves and her philanthropic spirit brought her to the Pardee Hospital Foundation as a Women Helping Women committee volunteer, Foundation Board member and Board chairman.

Over the years, Amy fell in love with the mission of the hospital and the Foundation and knew that was where she wanted to spend more of her time. She eventually joined the hospital staff as Community & Government Affairs Officer, and it was a natural transition in 2022 to move from that role into Executive Director for the Foundation.

Amy and her husband Stan live in Hendersonville with their hound dog, Buddy. When she is not advocating for the Foundation, Amy is happiest spending time with her husband and tending to anything that grows outdoors.

Matthew Kemper

Combining an empathetic nature, logical mindset, and general love of philanthropy, Matthew Kemper proudly joined the Pardee Hospital Foundation in December 2023. The mission at Pardee matches his appreciation of what community can do and respect for what healthcare offers everyone. Matthew looks forward to being a caring conduit of connecting people and philanthropy. This desire to make meaningful impact matches his volunteer work with multiple non-profits and excitement to what we can accomplish together.

Professionally, Matthew has worked in multiple industries, including orthopedics, automotive, and IT. Using those experiences, a B.S. from Indiana State, and M.P.M from Western Carolina University, he finds good ways to translate it to his non-profit work each day. Add on his love of his two children, Jenna and John, fiancé, Kay, and family and Matthew finds motivation caring for them and the WNC community.
