Angela Templeton, Registered Nurse II, PCU
Angela Templeton is a lifelong local. She was born at Pardee, attended Hendersonville High School, and remembers a time when five of her relatives were all working at Pardee. Today, she is a registered nurse in our Progressive Care Unit, and believes this is her calling. “As long as I remember, nursing is what I wanted to do. My work excites me because I can actually help others.”
Angela is currently undergoing cancer treatment at Pardee, allowing her an opportunity to experience firsthand the dedicated and compassionate care nurses provide every day. “Day to day I see tangible evidence of the care we provide,” she says.
Amy Ross, RN I-Clinical Coordinator, Emergency Department (ED)
When asked why she became a nurse, ED Nurse Amy Ross says, “to hopefully make a difference in people’s lives.” That’s exactly what she’s doing. Her hours on the floor of the Emergency Department are spent facilitating care to a multitude of patients, including the critically ill. Amy is inspired by the “amazing teamwork” of her fellow team members and is excited to be “working for an organization that is constantly trying to grow and expand.”
