The Annual Volunteer Appreciation luncheon took place April 11th at the Hendersonville Country Club. More than one hundred volunteers and guests attended.

The Theme for the luncheon was VOLUNTEERS—Every Moment Makes a Difference. Karla Reese, Manager of Volunteer Services, and Jay Kirby, Pardee CEO, welcomed the volunteers and talked about their importance in the Pardee Organization. Kirby expressed appreciation that the team of volunteers continues to grow and change with the organization.

Keynote speaker was Barbara Morgan who shared her story about creating a
non-profit organization called Project Dignity. She shared her personal health journey and gratitude for the dedicated healthcare staff at Pardee Hospital.

Volunteers shared their personal stories about why they love to volunteer at Pardee. Myrl Jean Hughes and Dave Weber talked about what inspires them to volunteer, which in turn, inspired the whole audience! Molly Garnett, Spiritual Care Manager, shared a Volunteer moment that made a difference for a patient in the Emergency Department.
