This year, the tournament raised more than $86,000 which will go towards the purchase of a comprehensive swallowing and voice tower for Pardee Hospital’s new Comprehensive Cancer Center, set to open in fall 2016. This equipment will improve diagnoses, treatment and quality of life for those with voice and swallowing disorders. Changes in voice and swallowing may be symptoms of a larger underlying condition that requires medicinal, or surgical treatment, or less invasive therapy. Improved diagnoses will impact treatment protocols of those who are undergoing head and neck cancer treatment, and reduce radiation exposure. Radiation oncologists and speech-language pathologists will use the equipment along with otolaryngology professionals affiliated with Pardee Hospital.

The event wouldn’t be a success without our sponsors and volunteers. Thank you for your support!
