Congratulations to Dave Weber, Pardee’s new Chair of Volunteer Services. Dave has been volunteering at Pardee for five years and serves in the Transporter Service. He’s very passionate about volunteering and looks forward to working with the volunteer team.
Adult volunteers provide services in a variety of departments and areas of the hospital including the Garden Café, the Information Desk, Day Surgery, the Outpatient lab, the Cancer Center, the Foundation office, and the Gift Shop.

For fiscal year 2019, Pardee had 210 adult volunteers with a total of 29,051 hours of service. Junior Volunteer hours totaled 1,713 for a grand total of 30,764 volunteer hours!

Pardee Hospital is pleased to have forty-one Junior Volunteers from Henderson, Transylvania, Polk and Buncombe Counties, as well as South Carolina! The team is made up of thirty-nine high school and two college students. Fifteen students are returning this summer and we are excited to welcome them back.

They volunteer in a total of twenty-one departments including Biomedical Engineering, Garden Café, Mammography, and Cardiovascular Diagnostics.
