Pardee Foundation Board Vice-Chair of Governance Patsy Farmer Jones was one of five 2019 nominees for the prestigious Henderson County Athena Award.

Athena honors women and men who work diligently to lift up and shine a light on women in our community. The awards ceremony took place at the Business & Professional Women’s Luncheon at Kenmure Country Club on May 16th.

Athena is an international program that recognizes individuals for professional excellence, for providing valuable service to their community and for assisting women in the attainment of professional goals and leadership skills. Its mission is to support, develop and honor women leaders. Patsy has a proven record and still advocates for those who are vulnerable and voiceless, lifting up women early in their careers to be their best selves.

Pardee Executive Director Kim Hinkelman said,”It is an honor to know Patsy and work with her as she serves on the Pardee Hospital Board of Directors.”

Patsy shared her special day with granddaughters Katherine and Anne, her son Bradley, husband Dr. Donald Jones and Pardee Foundation Executive Director, Kim Hinkelman.
