More than $52,000 has been raised in gifts and pledges from the Pardee Choice annual employee giving campaign to support Pardee Hospital and the United Way of Henderson County.
1,500 Pardee employees were sent a pledge form asking them to choose a one-time gift or payroll deduction. The giving choices are The Pardee Hospital Foundation, The United Way of Henderson County or a specific health or human services non-profit organization.
For sixty-six years United Way of Henderson County has been fighting for the education, health, financial stability and basic needs of everyone in the county. They fund forty-one programs at twenty-three local health and human service agencies.
The Pardee Hospital Foundation, established as a non-profit organization in 1996, has
provided over $32 million in financial support to Pardee Hospital. Pardee, a locally supported hospital, does not receive funding from the county or from tax revenue.
