Our 3rd Annual Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, April 23rd at Hendersonville Country Club was a huge success with more than 150 people in attendance. We enjoyed a great day of outdoor fun with music by Sound Extreme, kids activities, and food from Mojo’s BBQ food truck. This year, we raised more than $10,000 through team registration and sponsorship. Lead sponsors include Hendersonville Country Club, Boyd Chevrolet Cadillac Buick, Hendersonville Eye Care, James & Kelly Longman, and Horizon Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC.

Each year the Foundation chooses a funding initiative for the Cornhole Tournament. This year, we chose to fund upgrades to the Pardee Neurology Associates practice.  As a result of money raised by this event, we were able to install safety handrails in the practice making it easier for patients as they make their way from the waiting room to the exam room. Next up, we will install automatic doors to the practice entrance as well as the door between the waiting room and exam rooms.

Thank you to our amazing sponsors!

This year, Rob Notgrass & Ivan Escobar won the competitive while Thomas Smith & Michael Smith finished as runners up; recreational bracket winners were Augstin Escobar & Megan Freeman, with runners up Daniel Bailey & Joseph Bailey. KUDOS to the winning teams! Anderson and Brittany Ellis were the lucky winners of the cornhole boards painted by 8th graders at Hendersonville Middle School.
